What is the return idler and where is it applied in the conveyor?

Flat Return Rollers are commonly used in conveyor systems to support the returning conveyor belt. These rollers are installed on the underside of the conveyor and are designed to provide the necessary support for the belt. Flat Return Rollers are typically installed on the underside of a conveyor to provide support to the turning conveyor belt. However, these fl at return rollers are designed to enable the use as carry idlers and
support the conveyor belt from below in a fl at belt situation. As a result, the Return Roller Carry Bracket is available in two styles; a fl at carry bracket and a combination bracket for use in either application.

Additionally, these flat return rollers can also be utilized as carry idlers to support the conveyor belt from below, especially in flat belt situations. Their versatile design allows them to serve dual purposes, providing essential support for the conveyor system. This flexibility makes them a practical choice for various material handling applications in industrial and commercial settings.

Flat return rollers with support rollers: These rollers provide support to the conveyor belt and also serve as support rollers for the belt.

Flat return rollers are used solely for supporting the return portion of the conveyor belt, without the function of supporting the belt.

Of course, a conveyor usually consists of the following components:
Conveyor Belt/Conveyor Chain: A belt or chain structure used to convey material.
Roller support: support structure to support and fix the conveyor belt/chain.
Driving device: Motor, reducer, and other equipment used to drive the conveyor belt/chain to move.
Roller: The roller that supports and transfers the material and is used to reduce the friction between the conveyor belt/chain and the support.
Adjusting device: Used to adjust the tension and alignment of the conveyor belt/chain.
Loading parts: Used to load materials to the loading point on the conveyor belt/chain.
Unloading parts: Unloading points are used to unload the conveyed material to the designated location.

For roller applications, the following types of rollers are typically available:
Heavy Duty Rollers: Used to withstand the conveying of large or heavy materials with strength and abrasion resistance.
Gravity rollers: Used in gravity conveying systems, usually on inclined conveyor belts to allow for natural material movement.
Drive rollers: Connected to the drive unit and used to transmit the drive force to the conveyor belt.
Cushion Roller: Reduces the impact of the material on the conveyor belt by damping and cushioning.
According to the specific conveying requirements and working environment, you can choose the appropriate type of rollers to ensure the normal operation of the conveyor.
